Position may include duties in human resources, finance, healthcare laws and regulations, healthcare management and business administration. Position is responsible for completing assignments/projects as assigned by his/her preceptor throughout department and system rotations.<br><br><br>Virtual (Remote) Intern Opportunity within the Enterprise Analytics - Data Engineering department. <br>Open to Junior/Senior level Undergrad or Master's students, but looking for Computer Science/engineering focused degrees.<br><br>Top projects/tasks this intern will be working on:<br>- Data Engineering (coding, standards, concepts and process documentation)<br>- Data migration pipelines to Snowflake<br>- AWS, Snowflake familiarity<br>- DevOps - GitHub<br>- Datawarehouse/Medallion Architecture<br><br>You will be working on the latest cloud and Snowflake technologies to automate the data ingestion processes that can be used to build AI/ML and Agentic models<h2><b>Job Description</b></h2><p><b><u>Minimum Qualifications</u></b></p><p><b>Education: </b>Current students in an accredited college, university or institute of higher learning working on <b><u>or</u></b> recently completed their undergraduate degree</p><p><b>Licenses/Certifications:</b>  (None)</p><p></p><p><b>Experience / Knowledge / Skills:</b></p><ul><li><p>Strong oral and written communication skills</p></li><li><p>Must be detailed oriented, organized and have multi-tasking skills</p></li><li><p>Strong computer software skills – word processing, spreadsheets, database management and presentation</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Principal Accountabilities</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Performs a variety of entry-level administrative staff duties related to areas such as administrative regulations, policies, processes, procedures, systems, reports, surveys, and forms, while learning the fundamental of the business acumen.</p></li><li><p>Participates in analytic studies by conducting routine research, identifying samples, and assembling and compiling data in well defined areas related to administrative regulations, policies, procedures, systems, methods, reports, surveys, and forms.</p></li><li><p>Applies basic statistical and management analysis techniques or, with detailed instructions, advanced statistical and management techniques in analyzing data.</p></li><li><p>Assists in writing instructions, procedures, guides, and manuals to describe and improve administrative, technological, and operational methods and systems.</p></li><li><p>Researches problems, discrepancies, and responds to routine inquiries related to the business, technological, and operational activities of the assigned department.</p></li><li><p>Prepares reports, presentations, operational documents, and correspondence containing descriptive, analytical, and evaluative content related to business, technological, and operational activities subject to review and editing by higher-level staff members.</p></li><li><p>May perform a wide variety of paraprofessional, technical, and clerical tasks during peak workload periods or in the absence of assigned staff.</p></li><li><p>Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.</p></li><li><p>Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrates commitment to caring for every member of our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences.
