About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Paid Search & Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, highly creative, and passionate about digital marketing and social media. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in paid search campaigns, social media content creation, analytics, and more. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to kick-start their career in digital marketing.

Job Description:

Key responsibilities:

  • Focuses on day-to-day training
  • Campaign Planning & Optimization: Assist in planning, creating, and optimizing PPC and paid social media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing, Facebook, Instagram, X, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Keyword & Audience Research: Conduct keyword research, audience segmentation, and competitor analysis to inform campaign strategies and improve targeting.
  • Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor and track ad performance metrics, such as impressions, clicks, conversions, reach, engagement, and ROI. Compile reports to analyze results and make recommendations for optimization.
  • A/B Testing & Experimentation: Implement A/B tests for ad creatives and audience targeting to improve campaign effectiveness and maximize ROI.
  • Budget Management: Assist in budget tracking and spend allocation across campaigns, ensuring efficient use of funds and adherence to budget goals.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular performance reports detailing key metrics, insights, and recommendations to improve campaign results.
  • Ask questions, ask for help

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric Certificate
  • South African ID
  • Computer Skills

The successful candidate will be trained on creating, optimizing, and analyzing paid search and social media campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Facebook, and Instagram. They will also learn to use key advertising tools, conduct keyword and audience research, and implement strategies to improve ad performance and ROI.
