Corporate Affairs & Communication Intern

 

We are looking for a Corporate Affairs & Communication Intern to join our dynamic team for a six-month paid internship. The position is located in the Casablanca office and reporting to Communication Manager N&WA.

 

This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate communication and affairs within a global organization. The intern will support the team in executing communication strategies, managing media relations, and contributing to stakeholder engagement initiatives.

 

 

What you will be doing:

 

Communication

 

  • Support the organization of events such as press conferences, internal meetings, and public representation activities.
  • Assist in drafting and editing communication materials, including press releases, social media posts, and internal newsletters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in communication strategies.
  • Help manage JTI’s corporate website and social media platforms, ensuring content aligns with the company’s communication guidelines.
  • Monitor media coverage and social media channels to track engagement and address misinformation.
  • Participate in crisis communication planning and rehearsals, including drafting holding statements and preparing press kits.

 

Corporate Affairs

 

  • Conduct research on regulatory and fiscal challenges impacting the business and prepare advocacy materials.
  • Maintain documentation and record management systems to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
  • Build and engage a solid network of stakeholders to support Corporate Affairs strategies.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Recently completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, International Studies or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French (Arabic is a plus).
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with digital platforms.
  • Interest in corporate affairs, sustainability, and communication strategies.
