This role offers the opportunity to work closely with buyers on real-world procurement initiatives while developing analytical, research, and presentation skills within a manufacturing environment.

In this role, you will assist buyers with identifying and researching potential suppliers, supporting RFQ development and evaluation, and analyzing part usage and cost data to uncover savings opportunities. You will also contribute to cost analysis, should-cost modeling, and the creation of presentations that support sourcing strategies and data-driven decision-making.

  • Understand drawings and translate that to an understanding of how to create the product (and its associated cost) and investigate ways to reduce that cost by either design or manufacturing changes.
