Description
We are looking for motivated interns to participate in our Insurance Internship program. Designed to introduce students to the insurance industry, interns will gain first-hand experience in all aspects of a mutual insurance company. You will experience collaboration with a team that places value in providing products of the highest quality and giving excellent customer service while conducting our business.
This program is designed to both introduce students to the insurance industry and develop students for a post-graduation career in insurance. The candidate will spend time learning about Accounting, Claims, Information Technology, Marketing, Product Development, and Underwriting by rotating through each department for one full week to see how each of these "pieces" fit into THE GOODVILLE PUZZLE. This will provide the opportunity to identify an area of interest and then go back to that department later in the program for further development. The responsibilities will include working on various projects throughout the summer.
Requirements
- Interest in business, marketing, risk management or related field
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Strong writing and comprehension skills
- Develops strong and effective relationships
- Strong oral communication skills
- Superior customer service
