What a Typical Day Could Look Like

As an Operations Analyst Intern, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to how data, processes, and performance metrics drive decision-making across a growing multifamily organization. This role is analytical and detail-oriented, offering the opportunity to support operational initiatives while learning how property management operations, reporting, and process improvement work in a real-world environment. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist with projects that directly support operational efficiency and business performance.


You Are the Data & Operations Support Star!

  • Assist with collecting and organizing operational data from property management systems, financial reports, and internal sources
  • Support the tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) and help identify performance trends
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets, databases, and dashboards used for operational reporting
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations that summarize operational performance and insights
  • Support pitch materials and RFP responses by gathering accurate data and documentation
  • Help analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies or improvement opportunities
  • Track project timelines and support teams in meeting deadlines and deliverables
  • Communicate professionally with stakeholders across operations, property management, and corporate teams

Requirements

Key Skills and Abilities Needed to Succeed in This Role:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data in spreadsheets (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
  • Able and willing to work the required schedule for the duration of the internship
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with no major infractions in the past 12 months
