This will be a 100% on-site position in the Rochester, NY office. <span>The co-op will be assisting the mechanical engineering department with a variety of tasks ranging from designing and fabricating test fixtures, updating/remodeling parts and assemblies in SolidWorks, and hands on work involving building prototypes designs. During this co-op you will gain exposure to a fast-paced engineering environment which includes creating a detailed understanding of Mastodon Design's products.</span><br /><br /><br /><b><u>Responsibilities:</u></b></p><ul><li>Aiding in recreating/generating drawings for legacy files</li><li>Working with other engineering disciplines to create test fixtures</li><li>May include designing concepts for small products/accessories</li><li>Hands-on work building and assembling prototype designs</li></ul><p><br /><br /><b><u>Qualifications:</u></b><br /><br /><i>Required: </i></p><ul><li>Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field</li><li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future</li><li>Experience with CAD modeling software: SolidWorks</li><li>Experience with creating mechanical drawings</li></ul><p><br /><br /><i>Desired:</i></p><ul><li>Knowledgeable with 3D printing and how to design for FDM printers</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>-<p><b>_________________________________________________________________________</b></p><p></p><p><b><u>What You Can Expect:</u></b></p><p><b> </b></p><p><b>A culture of integrity.</b></p><p>At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
