Provides benefits and recognition advice and counsel through a variety of business/group & leadership engagements to execute BMO’s strategy and support the business/group strategy. Supports/defines the strategic direction, program design, and execution of wellness programs at BMO. Understands and aligns to regulatory requirements in applicable jurisdictions. Completes specific strategic & operational work to deliver program objectives and/or minimize risk.

  • Supports the development of tailored messaging, which may include writing, editing and distributing communications.
  • Assists with change management plans of varying scope and type; leads or participates in a variety of change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, execution, evaluation and sustainment of initiatives.
  • Provides input into the planning and implementation of operational programs.
  • Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
  • Provides advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of solutions.
  • Supports the design, development and implementation of multi-year strategy for benefits and recognition that improves employee productivity, engagement and advocacy in alignment with BMO’s overall business strategy.
  • Provides input to policy positions for benefits & recognition, taking into account legislative requirements.
  • Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations. Gathers and formats data into regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
  • Monitors and tracks program performance and addresses any issues.
  • Provides analytical support & recommends program design solutions, including manipulating data, preparing funding & forecasting models, preparing scenarios, developing preliminary results and monitoring variances to plan for various total reward programs.
  • Participates in / coordinates industry benchmarking processes that allow for better understanding of BMO’s program in relation to comparators.
  • Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders. Builds alignment between stakeholders.
  • May network with industry contacts to gather and identify competitive insights and best practices.
  • Supports development and execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supports regulatory requests, including regulatory reporting, to ensure BMO meets regulatory requirements in applicable jurisdictions.
  • Focus may be on a business/group.
  • Thinks creatively and proposes new solutions.
  • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
  • Works mostly independently.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.


    Qualifications:

  • As a full-time employee, we would require 3-5 years of experience, however as part of the BMO campus program, we are looking for motivated individuals with a strong desire to learn.    
  • Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience.

Salary:

$50,100.00 - $93,000.00

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
