WRA Architects is a Texas and Oklahoma based Architectural Design firm with deep expertise on PreK-12 and Higher Education Facilities, as well as municipal facilities. Position Summary:

WRA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architecture Intern to join our team. This internship is ideal for students currently enrolled in an accredited architecture program who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting. This internship opportunity is available at any of our three office locations: Plano, TX; Georgetown, TX; or Broken Arrow, OK.


Essential Functions:

  • Contribute to the work of the firm in the areas of architecture
  • Assist in the development of design concepts and presentations
  • Create and modify architectural drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp
  • Conduct site analysis and research for ongoing projects
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to design discussions
  • Support project documentation and model-making


Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
  • Knowledge of Revit, Adobe Software, Lumion, Enscape and other office software essential for design renderings and videos and production of Construction Documents preferred
  • Strong design sensibility and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Takes initiative
  • Takes direction
  • Good attitude
  • Knowledge of the office production standards
  • Drafting accuracy
  • A portfolio showcasing academic or personal design work (PDF or online link)


Interns will report to Project Principal-In-Charge (PIC), Project Manager (PM), and Project Architect/Coordinator (PC).
