Responsibilities

Platform Intern will assist with building and operating platforms used to deploy, monitor, and scale applications. The intern will work with senior engineers to automate infrastructure, improve CI/CD workflows, and enhance Kubernetes-based environments. Will work on enhancing our internal Kubernetes-based platform by building automation around GitOps workflows, improving CI/CD pipelines, and strengthening observability across clusters. Their project will involve developing lightweight tooling to validate container deployments, integrate metrics/logging enhancements, and streamline developer onboarding by contributing documentation and reusable templates.

What will you get from this experience:

The Platform intern will gain hands-on experience with modern platform engineering by working directly with Kubernetes, GitOps workflows, and real-world CI/CD automation. They will learn how cloud-native platforms are designed, deployed, and operated at scale, gaining exposure to container orchestration, Helm charts, observability tooling, and automated image validation pipelines. Through mentorship and project work, the intern will develop skills in troubleshooting distributed systems, building automation with Go/Python, understanding cloud services, and improving developer experience through platform tooling. By the end of the internship, they will have practical knowledge of how enterprise platforms maintain reliability, security, and scalability.
