Job Summary

The Black & Veatch Finance Internship Program is designed to provide the following to students:

  • Clear learning objectives and goals.
  • Meaningful experience of a working environment through daily responsibilities and challenging projects.
  • Introduction to Black & Veatch corporate culture and various financial tracks through Job Shadowing.
  • Feedback and Evaluations Intern works under close supervision of Finance supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis:

  • May support financial analysis by providing requested information  

Financial Reporting:

  • May prepares basic financial reports 
  • Identifies basic variances to plan . May support financial planning by providing requested information  

Financial Tool and Model Development:

  • May work to gain basic level of enterprise-wide business systems knowledge to obtain and analyze basic data  

Special Projects:

  • Special projects as required  

Management Responsibilities:

  • Individual contributor with no subordinates

Educational Background

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, or any related field.
  • not more than 300 Hrs. requirement

Minimum Qualifications

Current enrollment in Accounting or Finance program. No experience required.
