About the Role

Part-time internship (morning) as of March 2026
6 months duration

 

We are looking for internships with strong technical and interpersonal skills and

can-do mindset, who are eager to learn, broaden their knowledge and expertise and

want to make a difference. This is an exciting opportunity for a student/recent

Engineering graduate who wants to build a professional career in the Property

Underwriting sector.

 

About the Role

 

As Junior Property Underwriter Intern, you will support us in our daily agenda and

underwriting tasks - including risk research and analysis of risk exposure,

documentation and processing of the files, analysis of policy conditions and

commercial efforts and negotiations.

 

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the portfolio database up to date.
  • Follow up on the renewal of the portfolio and its related documentation.
  • Providing support on the underwriting analyses - of new submissions, of our business practices, and risk assessment for new and existing clients.
  • Supporting us with preparation of insurance proposals, all kinds of documents, marketing materials and sales presentations.
  • Contributing to document organization to ensure they are complete and accurately processed in our systems.

 

About You

 

We are looking for a well-organized, open-minded and curious person, with a keen

interest to learn about insurance and wide range of related topics. Other than that,

you:

  • Fluency in Spanish and English
  • Proactive approach in resolving problem s and in taking ownership of tasks
  • Experience working within a team and with internal and external stakeholders
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational and analytical skills
  • Some experience working with commercial insurance lines of Business and related products is an advantage.
