About the Role

The Electrical Engineering Intern will work on projects to research develop process automation, controls, and inspection of products.  The Intern will be directed by an R&D Manager and interact with both Electrical Engineers and Technicians on staff. Position would be from May/June of 2026 to August/September 2026. 

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

·       Set up and establish criteria for inspection on a lab scale.

·       Demonstrate feasibility of inspection on manufacturing scale products

·       Develop statistically valid criteria for characterizing overall uniformity of a product and for developing customer specifications.

·       Reads, understands and is committed to conducting business in accordance to Albany International’s Business Ethics Policy.  All business of the company should, at all times, be conducted ethically, fairly, honestly and with integrity.   

·       Develop and deploy programming/code for machine vision, data analysis, and equipment integration.

 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

Education Requirements:

Working towards a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology (Junior or Senior standing preferred)
