About the Role

General Description:

This paid summer Commercial Product Internship is designed for students in their final year of undergraduate studies who are pursuing degrees in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or related fields. The intern will support the Commercial Product team by helping design and implement a structured quarterly product update process. This role offers hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, process documentation, and cross-functional collaboration within a regulated Property & Casualty insurance environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • Senior-level standing (typically final year of undergraduate studies)
  • Pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Ability to commit to the full internship duration and schedule
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework in insurance, finance, risk management, business analytics, or business operations
  • Demonstrated interest in product management, commercial insurance, or the insurance industry
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, dashboards, or business process improvement
  • Ability to identify data issues, validate accuracy, and problem-solve data quality challenges
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while collaborating with stakeholders
  • Interest in pursuing a career in Commercial Product, Product Operations, or Property & Casualty insurance
