Role Summary

The ExM Business Excellence Intern will be a member of the External Manufacturing (ExM), Business Excellence Team. ExM is comprised of Biologics/Pharmaceutical Operations, Quality, MSAT, Procurement, and Supply Chain. The Business Excellence team is responsible for planning and executing on both strategic imperatives and tactical, day-to-day activities required to achieve business objectives. This role provides exposure to global teams which provide management oversight to contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) which produce Servier commercial products. The intern may support key projects/initiatives related to ExM Operational Excellence (OpEx) roadmap, business process improvements, key performance indicators (KPIs), risk management, and cross-functional team collaboration in a real-world biopharmaceutical environment.


This internship is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in gaining practical experience and contributing to meaningful work within the biopharmaceutical commercial manufacturing industry.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Project management/support of activities related to the ExM OpEx roadmap
  • Help prepare communications and simple content to promote OpEx mindsets, continuous improvement practices, and awareness across the ExM organization
  • Participate in identifying continuous improvement opportunities and assist in implementing enhancements to ways of working or standard processes
  • Support the development and documentation of standard processes, tools, and templates for ExM teams
  • Help coordinate crossfunctional routines, meeting preparation, followups, and action tracking
  • Demonstrate strong communication and timemanagement skills while managing multiple small tasks and supporting team priorities

 

Education and Required Skills

  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in scientific, engineering, or business discipline
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Interest in Operational Excellence, continuous improvement, or operations
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools; familiarity with Excel or data analysis is a plus

 

Travel and Location

  • No travel required
  • Boston – Hybrid (2 days per week).

The pay range for this role is $24/hr. An intern’s pay position within the range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
