People Operations, Learning & Communications Intern

About Quindar

Quindar is building mission-critical software for space operations. As we grow, strong people operations, clear internal communication, and thoughtful team experiences are essential to how we collaborate, onboard new team members, and build a healthy, connected company culture.

We’re looking for a People Operations, Learning & Communications Intern to support our People team across internal learning, communications, and team experience initiatives.

About the role

In this role, you’ll work closely with the People Operations Coordinator to support the systems, content, and experiences that help Quindar teams do their best work.

You’ll help build and communicate internal learning resources, support internal communications, and assist with planning and coordinating team trips, events, and activities. This is a hands-on role that combines people operations, learning, communication, and culture-building.

This internship is ideal for someone interested in People Ops / HR, learning & development, internal communications, or operations, and who enjoys both structured work and collaborative, people-focused projects.

What you’ll do

Internal learning & knowledge management

  • Research and document general aerospace concepts relevant to Quindar

  • Help capture and structure Quindar-specific knowledge, including:

    • Internal terminology and acronyms

    • Team overviews and responsibilities

    • Tools, workflows, and ways of working

  • Build and maintain content in an internal learning database (e.g. Notion, Confluence)

  • Translate technical or complex topics into clear, accessible explanations

  • Identify knowledge gaps that affect onboarding or internal alignment

People operations & team experience

  • Support People Ops initiatives and day-to-day coordination

  • Assist with planning and coordinating:

    • Team trips and offsites

    • Internal events and activities

    • Team-building initiatives

  • Help with logistics such as scheduling, documentation, coordination with vendors, and internal communication

  • Support follow-up and feedback collection after events and trips

Internal communications & internal marketing

  • Support internal communications by:

    • Drafting or editing internal announcements and updates

    • Supporting onboarding-related communications

  • Help promote internal learning resources and People Ops initiatives so they’re visible and used

  • Maintain clarity and consistency in tone across internal content

  • Gather feedback on internal communications and suggest improvements

Collaboration & improvement

  • Work with team members across the company to gather information and context

  • Help develop templates and best practices for documentation, communications, and event coordination

  • Contribute ideas to improve People Ops processes and the overall employee experience

What we’re looking for

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented

  • Comfortable juggling different types of tasks (content, coordination, communication)

  • Curious mindset and willingness to learn technical topics

  • Interest in people operations, internal communications, or learning & development

  • Comfortable collaborating with different teams and asking questions

Nice to have (but not required)

  • Interest or background in aerospace, engineering, or space

  • Experience with Notion, Confluence, Slack, or similar tools

  • Experience supporting events, trips, or community activities

  • Content, editing, or basic design skills (Canva, Figma, etc.)
