Role Overview:
Join Maxis as a Network Security Governance Intern and gain hands-on experience in managing and improving network security policies and processes. This role involves preparing and documenting network telco policies, tracking vulnerabilities, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution. Additionally, you’ll contribute to automating vulnerability assessment dashboards, enhancing Maxis' network security governance framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Policy Documentation: Prepare and document comprehensive network telco policies to ensure alignment with industry standards and organizational requirements.
Vulnerability Tracking: Monitor and maintain an updated record of network vulnerabilities (open VAs), regularly track progress on identified vulnerabilities and provide updates to ensure resolution within set timelines.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to follow up on vulnerability assessment (VA) closure progress, ensuring accountability and timely action.
Dashboard Automation: Develop and implement automation for vulnerability assessment dashboards, optimizing the tracking and reporting process.
Governance Support: Assist in enhancing the overall network security governance framework by identifying and addressing gaps in current practices.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Strong understanding of network security principles or relevant IT experience, and familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools and processes is an advantage.
Ability to analyze security data and propose actionable recommendations.
Basic knowledge of dashboard creation and automation tools is beneficial.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
