About the Role

​​Fulkerson, Kennedy & Company (FK&Co.) is a boutique DC-based firm that specializes in Democratic Senate fundraising, event planning, and campaign finance. FK&Co. works with members of Congress, non-profit organizations, corporations, and individuals. Interns will assist in client fundraising efforts and have the opportunity to shadow associates at various DC-area events.

Accepted applicants are expected to commit to 20 hours/week with the option for some limited remote work (fully remote applicants will not be considered). A monthly stipend will be paid based on the number of hours worked. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Donor research 
  • Writing briefing materials for clients

Requirements

Desired qualifications:

  • Prior political internship experience is preferred, but not required
  • Interest in politics, specifically Democratic campaigns
  • Organized and motivated self-starter 
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to make professional phone calls
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google applications
