About the Role

With our commitment to increase penetration in an underserved hearing care market, we want to accelerate our business transformation to reach more people, more effectively.</p><p>As a Design Quality Intern, you will support the Quality Assurance function within R&amp;D, contributing to design quality, risk management, and regulatory compliance activities. You will assist the Quality Representative in supporting design and relabeling projects, with a particular focus on MDD to MDR conversion initiatives. This role offers valuable exposure to medical device quality systems, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices in a product development environment.<br></p><h6></h6><h4>What you will do</h4><ul><li><p>Support document control activities for R&amp;D relabeling projects, including document reviews, approvals, and compliance with templates, approval matrices, and project document plans</p></li><li><p>Review project documentation to ensure alignment with quality system and regulatory requirements</p></li><li><p>Support product risk management activities, including vigilance-related tasks and project risk documentation</p></li><li><p>Assist in MDD (Medical Device Directive) to MDR (Medical Device Regulation) conversion projects, supporting regulatory and quality transition activities</p></li><li><p>Provide support for ad-hoc quality requests to enable the Quality Representative to focus on core product projects.</p></li></ul><h4><br></h4><h4>What you bring</h4><ul><li><p>Undergraduate or fresh graduate with a degree in Engineering or other relevant discipline</p></li><li><p>Interest in Quality Assurance, Design Quality, and medical device regulations</p></li><li><p>Basic knowledge of or exposure to ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and medical device risk management (coursework or training is an advantage)</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills, with a quality-oriented mindset</p></li><li><p>Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently, with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.</p></li></ul><h4><br></h4><h4>Who we are</h4><p>At WSA, we provide innovative hearing aids and hearing health services.</p><p>Together with our 12,000 colleagues in 130 countries, we invite you to help unlock human potential by bringing back hearing for millions of people around the world.</p><p>With us, you will become part of a truly global company where we care for one another, welcome diversity and celebrate our successes.</p><p>Sounds wonderful?&nbsp;We can't wait to hear from you.<br></p><p><em>WSA is an equal-opportunity employer and&nbsp;committed to creating an inclusive employee experience for all.
