Your team and your responsibilities
Team/division description
You will be part of the Process & Systems Department. This position offers you insights into the supply chain of the automotive business and purchasing processes and systems. It will also provide you with a better understanding of how a leading multinational operates and interacts with various internal and external parties.
Your project
Increase the adoption of digital process & AI with transparency and accountability within purchasing division:
- Map out existing Purchasing processes
- Identify digitalisation opportunities and potential technologies
- Work closely with purchasing users and IT department to implement change to process
- Manage implementation of process change (requirements, testing, rollout communication)
- Support maintaining key Purchasing KPI’s, company reports
- Support Purchasing systems troubleshooting activities
Your Profile
- You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
- Student at Technical High School. University, Graduate
- Interested in analysing problems and working with new technology
- Curious, analytical, accurate and reliable
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools
- Can apply business analysis skills (e.g. bpmn) to visualise process, high light gaps and show improvements
- You can apply critical thinking
- Experience in AI, bots is a plus
Duration
- 6 months
Confidentiality
Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.
It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.
We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
