About Agilent SVD
Agilent’s Spectroscopy & Vacuum Division (SVD) leads the development and manufacturing of Vacuum products, including Turbo Molecular, Ion and Primary pumps, related vacuum accessories, and the Mass Spectrometer Leak Detector. You’ll join a dynamic Service & Marketing team in Torino (Leinì) advancing our after market offering and customer experience.


This role transforms market data into actionable insights that guide how we position our services and sustain long term business success. You will play a key role in analyzing the competitive environment, service and pricing structures, and industry trends.

What You’ll Do:
•    Market analysis - After Sales focus: Map the service portfolio, pricing approaches, and trends across the Vacuum industry; evaluate competitors’ strategies and go to market methods.
•    Competitive benchmarking: Compare Agilent’s offering with main competitors and significant third party multivendor service providers.
•    Geographic scope: Focus on the US, EU and UK, plus selected Asian markets.
•    Data collection & synthesis: Gather, analyze, and interpret market and competitor data from public/secondary sources and internal inputs.
•    Deliverable: Produce a comprehensive, actionable report with insights and recommendations (e.g., segmentation, value propositions, pricing patterns, risks/opportunities).

What You’ll Learn
•    Acquire knowledge of Agilent policies, practices, and procedures.
•    Learn the technical requirements relevant to your area of responsibility (non technical role with domain familiarity).
•    Execute routine tactical/administrative assignments with clearly defined objectives and limited discretion.
•    See your scope and independence increase over time as proficiency grows.
•    Work within prescribed tasks and processes, with oversight and feedback from your supervisor.
•    Communicate effectively on routine matters within the team, typically requiring little or no debate.
 

Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with the following background:
•    Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (or recently graduated) (Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Humanities & Social Sciences, or similar). 


and with following skills:
o    Strong analytical and problem solving skills; critical thinking and attention to detail.
o    Adaptability, curiosity, and a structured approach to research.
o    Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
o    Fluent English (additional languages, e.g., Italian, are a plus).
o    Familiarity with spreadsheets, and data visualization or statistical tools (e.g., Excel/Sheets, Power BI/Tableau, basic stats) is a plus.
