We are creating smarter ways to address heart disease and heart risks by integrating a connected platform enabled by smart data science to help patients access the care and attention that will inform better treatments and outcomes.</p> <p>We envision a future where care teams and hospitals can be more effective, the healthcare system can be more efficient, and patients have a better care experience and more fulfilling lives.</p> <p>This is precision cardiology, and we know it’s within reach.</p> <p><strong>What Will You Do?</strong></p> <p><strong>The Overview</strong></p> <p>As a UX/UI Design Intern, you’ll join our product team to help shape the digital experiences at the heart of our platform – including mobile apps, web dashboards, and participant enrollment flows. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and researchers to turn complex clinical workflows into intuitive, human-centered experiences. We believe great design is a team sport, and you’ll contribute to real features that power both internal teams and external users.</p> <p><strong>The Specifics</strong></p> <ul> <li>Interpret business and technology requirements to create mobile and web screen flows.</li> <li>Prototype mobile and web experiences for user research and design presentations.</li> <li>Support design thinking workshops and user research sessions – from planning through execution and synthesis.</li> <li>Create detailed specifications for development and engineering teams.</li> <li>Understand mobile and web design language and standards.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Prolaio?</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Impactful Work:</strong> You will join in the fight against heart failure (HF) and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) with the goal of extending and saving the lives of our patients while also being at the forefront of changing the healthcare industry through technology.</li> <li><strong>Innovative Environment</strong><strong>:</strong> You will be part of an organization doing something that’s never been done before.</li> <li><strong>Professional Growth</strong><strong>:</strong> You will join a growing team and have a substantial impact on our daily and future operations with the opportunity to continuously learn and grow.</li> <li><strong>Collaborative Team</strong><strong>:</strong> You will be part of a team of collaborative, curious, and committed individuals focused on the collective good, inclusiveness, scientific excellence, and advancing digital health for cardiology.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who You Are?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.</li> <li>A design portfolio that showcases storytelling, design thinking experience, and collaboration with technology — student work welcome.</li> <li>Proficiency in Figma with demonstrable attention to detail, especially regarding file organization and maintenance.</li> <li>Understanding of accessibility best practices.</li> <li>Familiarity with agile processes and software such as JIRA is preferred.</li> <li>Experience in pharma, wellness, or medicine is a plus.</li> </ul> <p class="p1">Compensation: The expected hourly rate for this internship is $25/hour.</p> <p class="p1">**At this time, relocation and housing stipends are not offered for this internship.**</p> <p><br><br></p>
