About the Role

Schneider Electric is looking to hire a Business Data Analytics Intern in Nashville, TN for the Summer 2026.

 

In the world of business, knowledge is power when making critical decisions. Schneider Electric brings a wealth of data
waiting to be transformed into business information. This position offers a challenging tour of business and product
information as well as experience with the tools used to harvest the data.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Research and analyses of existing sources of data, reports and tools that actively support our business activities. - Visit
    with leaders to understand the information they already use as well as their "wish list".
  • Gain access to systems and data environments to understand business intent and key elements of business reports
  • Collaborate with leaders on business information development needs.
  • Learning development techniques in Tableau - Includes report building, accessing sources of data, visualization
    techniques
  • Development of new Tableau reporting views - Interview primary points-of-contact (PoC) on substance of report needs
    and formatting
  • Test and debug
  • Present results of development to primary PoC and leaders

This internship should provide overall business exposure to Quotations, Orders, Sales and Profitability but with deeper understanding into the drivers such as Customer and Market segments, opportunity sizing and differentiating product characteristics. Expect to engage with a variety of business and technical leaders in Commercial, Information Technology, Finance and Marketing roles. The business experience will be complemented by technical hands-on using Tableau to visualize newly developed queries.

 

 

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • You are pursuing a degree in Business Management, Information Management, Engineering or related program
  • You have exposure to or experience analyzing data using SQL, R or Python
