The PDS Health Summer Intern Program is a 10-week, on-site, full-time, paid internship that provides undergraduate students with invaluable insight and experience into the operation of a large multi-state employer.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the development and facilitation of two signature corporate social responsibility programs: annual day of service and fall cause marketing campaign
• Supports the PDS Health Foundation through development and execution of strategic fundraising and administrative efforts 
• Researches corporate healthcare non-profit foundations and industry best practices, and presents key learnings and recommendations
• Leverages giving and volunteering platform (Benevity) to coordinate volunteer projects across the country
• Engages and partners with marketing and communications team to support in a variety of projects
• Cross-departmental collaboration to accomplish daily tasks and projects
• Assists in data entry and collection for department reports compiling
• Collaborates with other interns to accomplish completion of assigned group project
• Other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications

• Current or recent enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program in Marketing, Public Health, Communications or Public Relations, or similar
• Preferred background and experience in volunteer work or public relations
• Strong communications skills
• Team player with a strong work ethic
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel) and Canva.

Location: On-site at the Irvine Support Center in Henderson, NV.
