The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an Associate Buyer intern for summer 2026. This position will be located in our Enterprise Shared Service Center in Oklahoma City, OK. You will work under close supervisor to assist in the preparation and administration of purchase orders for materials in accordance with client requirements, government regulations and procurement policies/procedures.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in reviewing requisitions and soliciting/evaluating bids from suppliers
  • Provide recommendations on supplier selection for purchase order awards
  • Support negotiations with suppliers on price, quality, delivery and other terms and conditions
  • Participate in oversight activities for awarded purchase orders until delivery or completion of goods/services
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate and prioritize activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Help maintain a pool of responsive suppliers that provide high-quality products and services at fair and reasonable prices
  • Contribute to negotiation efforts with suppliers to address issues such as damage claims, rejections, losses, material returns, over-shipments, cancellations, and engineering change orders


Qualifications:


Required: 

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, studying Business Administration or related degree
  • Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Highly organized with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Attention to details and problem-solving skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future


Desired: 

  • Experience with CostPoint and P2P
  • Knowledge of FAR, DFAR, and GSA schedules
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Word skills

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
