  • Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

  • Length: 10 Week Internship Program

  • Relocation: No Relocation will be provided for this position

Air Liquide ALAS is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic HSE Intern to support our Health, Safety, and Environment initiatives. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in a multinational industrial gas company, contributing to a safe and sustainable working environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HSE policies, procedures, and programs.

  • Support the coordination and execution of HSE training sessions and awareness campaigns for employees.

  • Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.

  • Assist in the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses, contributing to root cause analysis and corrective action planning.

  • Help maintain and update HSE documentation, including permits, records, and reports. * Participate in risk assessments and the development of mitigation strategies.

  • Support the monitoring of environmental performance and data collection.

  • Collaborate with various departments to promote a strong safety culture.

  • Assist with the preparation of HSE performance reports and presentations.

  • Stay informed about relevant HSE legislation, regulations, and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of fundamental HSE principles and concepts.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Computer proficient including working knowledge of Gemini.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

The candidate must have valid unrestricted employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
