We safeguard global security by ensuring space access and sustainability for all.</p> <p><u>OUR VALUES</u></p> <ul> <li><em>Be the offset.&nbsp;</em>We create asymmetric advantages with creativity and ingenuity</li> <li><em>What would it take?</em>&nbsp;We challenge assumptions to deliver ambitious results</li> <li><em>It’s the people.</em>&nbsp;Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better together</li> </ul></div><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support the development and testing of Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) systems, including algorithm design, simulation, and verification</li> <li>Assist in the design and validation of GNC flight software and embedded algorithms for spacecraft operating in various orbit regimes</li> <li>Contribute to spacecraft Attitude and Orbit Determination &amp; Estimation (AOD/AOE) work, including exposure to sensor fusion and filtering frameworks (e.g., EKF, UKF)</li> <li>Implement and test GNC algorithms in simulation environments</li> <li>Assist in the development and maintenance of high-fidelity 6-DOF simulation environments for SIL, HIL, and mission analysis</li> <li>Work cross-functionally with avionics, propulsion, software, mission operations, and systems teams</li> <li>Support on-orbit commissioning, calibration, and anomaly resolution activities as needed</li> </ul> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field, completed or graduating within the next 4 months</li> <li>Coursework or project experience in spacecraft attitude dynamics, orbital mechanics, and control systems</li> <li>Strong understanding of physics, dynamics, and software development fundamentals</li> <li>Experience with C++ and/or Python through coursework, research, or personal projects</li> <li>Exposure to filtering or estimation methods (e.g., Kalman filters) through coursework or projects</li> <li>Familiarity with spacecraft GNC concepts such as sensors, actuators, state estimation, and control laws</li> <li>Ability to build, test, and debug software and simulation tools</li> <li>Strong analytical skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment</li> <li>U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance</li> </ul> <p><strong>PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p> <ul> <li>Completed Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent discipline</li> <li>Internship or research experience in GNC, control systems, or simulation development</li> <li>Hands-on experience with hardware testing</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation</strong></p> <ul> <li>28/hour</li> </ul> <p>This position will be open until it is successfully filled.
