About the Job

We are looking for summer internships in SRAM Design team in San Jose. You will work closely with internal teams and external collaborators to explore new devices, circuits, and applications for the advanced semiconductor technologies. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build new skills and insights while working with industrial R&D professionals. You will participate in group meetings and will have the opportunity to present your work. The ideal candidate should have good research capability and enthusiastic to solve scientific and engineering challenges. TSMC is a leading semiconductor manufacturing company, and we are looking for the right individuals and talent to join our SRAM team.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop SRAM memory circuits with cutting-edge technologies in advanced nodes
  • Handle industry-level design verification with latest EDA tools
  • Involve in schematic/layout development and circuit optimization
  • Perform timing/power characterization and QC for memory compiler
  • Build internal scripting flow to improve work productivity

 

Requirements:

 

  • Actively pursuing a master’s or PhD degree in EE/CE majors
  • Experienced in VLSI design related courses from school
  • Interested in SRAM circuit design
  • Must have good teamwork attitude
