Internship: Electrical Engineering (all genders)

What you’ll do

• Analyze and test electrical related components and modules to establish operating data
• Define, set up and conduct experimental tests
• Generate or improve automated test environments
• Evaluate, document and present the test results
• Investigate and improve existing electrical modules and systems 

Who we’re looking for

Bachelor or HTL student in the field of

• Electronics,
• Electrical Engineering,
• or similar 

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge in collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of test data
• Knowledge in usage of programming languages and other systems for automated tests
• Demonstrate technical independence
• Excellent IT knowledge, e.g. MS Windows, MS Office products
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Internship Details

Desired start: July 2026

Internship duration: 8 weeks

Compensation

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry, according to the education level. Minimum gross monthly Salaries for fulltime internship employment are therefore:

• 1.295,40 EUR (2 Lj./Tab I) - students without Matura under 18 years old 
• 1.596,26 EUR (2 Lj./Tab II) - students without Matura above 18 year 
• B (Bachelor Student)
• C (Master Student)

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
