Job Mission

As a Commis Cook Intern, you will be an essential part of our culinary team, supporting the preparation and presentation of dishes that delight our guests. This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic kitchen environment, where you will learn professional techniques, uphold brand standards, and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences.

What You Will Do

  • Assist in Food Preparation
    Support the kitchen team in preparing ingredients and basic dishes according to recipes and standards.

  • Maintain Quality and Hygiene
    Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas.

  • Learn Culinary Techniques
    Gain practical knowledge of cooking methods, plating, and presentation under the guidance of experienced chefs.

  • Support Daily Operations
    Help with stock control, storage, and organization of kitchen supplies to ensure smooth workflow.

  • Collaborate with the Team
    Work closely with chefs and other kitchen staff to deliver timely and high-quality service.

  • Uphold Brand Standards
    Contribute to maintaining Meliá’s culinary identity and ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
