Treasury, Tax & Investor Relations Traineeship

We offer an exciting opportunity for students in the final 1–3 years of their university studies, who are passionate about aviation, to join Wizz Air.

This 1–3 year rotational traineeship, based at Wizz Air’s Headquarters in Budapest, provides exposure to the full scope of activities within one selected function. Through rotations across functional teams, you will learn directly from industry experts, contribute to complex projects, and have the opportunity to continue your career at Wizz Air in a full-time role.

💼 Treasury, Tax & Investor Relations Department

The Treasury, Tax & Investor Relations Department is vital to Wizz Air’s financial stability and success. The team manages liquidity and financial risks, ensures timely payment operations, supports long-term financial strategy, minimizes tax liabilities, and communicates the company’s financial position to management and investors.

🧠 Your Responsibilities

📊 Review financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance
🔧 Support system development implementations
💳 Assist with daily payment operations and banking relationships
🤝 Cooperate with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues
📈 Support cash flow forecasting reports
🔍 Monitor daily processing, identify errors, and propose solutions

🎯 Requirements

✔️ Fluent in English
✔️ Graduation expected within two years
✔️ Active student status at a Hungarian university for at least one more year
✔️ Available to work at least 20 hours per week
✔️ Strong MS Office skills
✔️ Previous traineeship experience is an advantage
✔️ Interest in cross-functional work, payments, or aviation
✔️ Motivated, adaptable, and a strong team player
