As part of our internship program, students will have the opportunity to:
- Gain hands-on, real-world experience within a leading industry, working on meaningful projects that contribute to day-to-day operations and long-term initiatives
- Volunteer to assist with company events such as the Family Picnic, Employee Summit, Manufacturing Technology Summer Camp, and other events as needed.
- Complete a final presentation outlining their internship experience, which may be presented to their direct supervisor and colleagues.
- Gain hands-on exposure to projects, team collaboration, and professional development opportunities designed to prepare them for future careers.
- Participate in learning sessions, networking opportunities, and community-building activities across the organization.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Join us for an exciting summer! We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Commercial Learning & Development team as an intern.
As a Learning Engagement intern, you will support the design and delivery of engaging online learning experiences for self-paced training programs. This role offers exposure to instructional design, content research, media production, and on-camera training while contributing to professional development programs related to sales techniques and STIHL products.
In this role, you may assist with researching training topics, structuring online course content, developing scripts, supporting video and audio production, and participating in on-camera training segments, gaining hands-on experience across multiple stages of the digital learning development process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research sales techniques and STIHL product topics to support course development
- Assist with organizing and structuring online courses, curriculum and learning paths
- Write camera-ready scripts for trainers delivering content on video
- Support video and audio editing, including b-roll and visual elements that enhance learning
- Participate in on-camera training sessions using prepared scripts, would be a plus
- Collaborate with instructional design and training teams to support engaging digital learning experiences
Internship Goals:
- Understand and comprehend the training editorial environment.
- Gain technical writing and project management experience.
- Learn and provide new and fresh training concepts to an evolving and dynamic industry in a global company.
