TITLE: Accounting Intern

DEPARTMENT: Go: Accounting 


JOB SUMMARY:

The Accounting Intern will support both the Accounting and Corporate Treasury teams on a variety of tasks and projects. Under the guidance of the Director of Finance, the intern will gain hands-on experience in areas such as journal entry preparation, internal and regulatory reporting, accounts payable, fixed assets, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations. This role offers valuable exposure to core accounting functions within a financial institution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Ability to prepare and maintain reports, documents, and related materials

· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

· Ability to learn and navigate various computer programs; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required

· Capable of managing multiple assignments and working independently

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities; tactful, mature, and adaptable

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion

· Commitment to following company and regulatory policies, procedures, and requirements

· Ability to foster a culture of inclusion, innovation, collaboration, accountability, achievement, and passion

SALARY & BENEFITS: 

The anticipated starting hourly wage for this position is $17.00 per hour. The actual wage will be based on qualifications and business needs and may vary, as permitted by applicable state law.
