About the Role

Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for Planning students to join our Greenwood Village, Colorado (CO) office! This is not a remote position. 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with state agencies to identify aviation system needs and make project recommendations for airport improvements.
  • Create state aviation system plans and conduct airport economic impact studies
  • Conduct desktop research, analyze data, and synthesize findings in technical reports and other deliverables.
  • Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for future aviation investment.
  • Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
  • Prepare airport planning, economic impact, and other studies.

Qualifications

  • In the process of receiving a Degree (Bachelors or Masters) from an accredited program in one of the following majors:  
    • Aviation Management
    • City and Regional Planning 
    • Urban Planning
    • Transportation Planning  
    • Or Other Related Major

Hourly Pay: $25-$29
