About the Role

Join JTI Manufacturing Jordan as an Intern!

Location: Air Cargo Street - Al Qastal
Duration: 6 months (Paid Internship)

Position Purpose:

In this internship, you will explore manufacturing operations, learn from experts, and contribute to impactful projects in Quality, Production, Environmental Health & Safety, and Integrated Work Systems.

Key Learning Opportunities:

Understanding Manufacturing Processes and Standards:

  • Gain insights into the end-to-end manufacturing process, from raw material handling to the creation of the final product.
  • Learn about global manufacturing Quality standards and actively participate in Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities.
  • Explore Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) practices and understand factory safety protocols, risk management, and emergency procedures.

Shadowing & Observational Learning:

  • Work closely with experienced team members, observing operational and technical tasks as well as troubleshooting techniques.

Skill Development in Reporting & Compliance:

  • Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and maintaining records to ensure robust quality and operational standards.
  • Conduct compliance reviews and document corrective actions for non-compliance issues, learning the importance of adherence to safety and quality regulations.

Active Participation in Process Improvement Initiatives:

  • Gain exposure to process improvement projects such as Yield Projects, Quality-related projects, and 5S3R initiatives aimed at operational excellence.
  • Participate in discussions on operational efficiency, loss reduction, and continuous improvement strategies, contributing your insights to ongoing initiatives.

Integrated Work System (IWS) Learning:

  • Be part of daily Integrated Work System (IWS) Cycle meetings to understand performance metrics, loss analysis, and the formulation of action plans.

Discovering Digital Tools & SAP Systems:

  • Learn about SAP systems and how they integrate into manufacturing operations to enhance efficiency and tracking processes.

Required Skills:

  • Academic background in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or similar).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English.
