About the Role

The Fraunhofer Institute for Casting, Composite and Processing Technology IGCV stands for applied research and development in the fields of lightweight construction, automation and digitalisation. We are looking for an intern to support our team „Fiber Placement & Composite Molding“ in the research and development of manufacturing processes for fibre composite structures.

 

Be part of change

⦁    Participation in the process development of robot-based technologies for the production of high performance structural parts
⦁    Digitalisation of the production environment and implementation of material-efficient production techniques
⦁    Supporting the conduction of processing trials, analysis and documentation of results

 

What you contribute

⦁    Studying engineering, ideally specialising in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or materials science
⦁    First practical experience in the field of production technology for CFRP is an advantage
⦁    Experience with CATIA and Python are advantageous

The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
