Position Overview:

 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Design Technology Intern to join our Design Integration Services (DIS) team for the summer. This role is ideal for an interior design or architecture student who is interested in digital tools, and the technical side of design within the commercial interiors industry. The intern will support the review and enhancement of Revit content to ensure it meets the expectations of the A&D (architecture & design) community. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in how manufacturers support designers through high-quality digital tools and content.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Revit Content Review & Quality Support
    • Review and test Revit families for accuracy, usability, and alignment with designer workflows.
    • Evaluate parametric functionality, materials, visibility settings, and hosted behaviors.
    • Identify areas for improvement and support content refinement efforts.
  • Designer Experience Alignment
    • Provide feedback on how digital content performs within real-world design scenarios.
    • Assist in maintaining content standards and documentation.
    • Support efforts to elevate content quality across product lines.
  • Documentation & Process Support
    • Maintain organized records of content reviews and updates.
    • Assist in tracking revisions and managing digital content workflows.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a college-level program related to Interior Design or Architecture
  • Proficiency in Revit is required
  • Strong attention to detail and technical curiosity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
