OVERVIEW

As a Raw Material Development Intern, your primary focus will be on organizing, digitizing, and optimizing the fabric library, ensuring materials are easily accessible and well-documented for the RMID team. You’ll also gain hands-on experience in textile development, assisting in material tracking and database management.

The Alo internship programs starts June 8th through July 31st. Interns will be working 40 hours a week at our Commerce office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the restructuring of the fabric library to improve accessibility and efficiency.
  • Organize, catalog, and maintain physical and digital material records.
  • Assist in creating a user-friendly system for tracking material attributes, test data, and critical details.
  • Collaborate with RM Developers to ensure accurate and up-to-date data entry.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current student pursuing a degree in Textiles, Fashion, or a related field.
  • Passion for fabric/material development.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Excel; PLM system experience is a plus.

The compensation for this position is $25 per hour.
