OVERVIEW

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Retail Video Editing Intern to join our Retail Education & Experience team. This role will support the editing, organization, and distribution of video content used for retail training. The intern will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to help bring learning content to life through engaging and high-quality video assets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The 8-week Alo internship programs starts June 8th and ends July 31st. Interns will be working 40 hours a week at our Beverly Hills HQ.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with editing and assembling video content for retail training initiatives including but not limited to Tik Tok-style education videos.

Support the organization and management of project files and finalized assets.

Collaborate with the Retail Education & Experience team to craft scripts and content aligned with learning objectives.

Assist with basic motion graphics, captions, or visual enhancements as needed.

Provide administrative support to the Retail Experience & Education team.

Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving content and workflow.

REQUIREMENTS

Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Working knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Previous experience in retail preferred.

Genuine interest in fashion, trends, and brand storytelling is a plus.

The compensation for this position is $25 per hour.
