About the Role


At ECCO USA, Inc., we believe people are at heart of our success. The Human Resources Intern will support
the People & Culture team with day-to-day HR operations and special projects. This role offers hands-on exposure to recruitment,
employee administration, reporting, and employee engagement initiatives. It is an excellent opportunity for someone looking
to gain practical HR experience in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
 

Location: On-site - Salem, NH
Schedule: Part-Time (15-20 hours/week)
Internship Timeframe/Start Date: 1+ year, with start date as soon as possible

What You'll Do:                                                                                       

·         Recruiting Support: Assist with the recruitment process, including resume screening reviewing 
and interview scheduling.

·         HR Administration: Create, maintain, and audit personnel records; manage benefits distribution; support
HR administration and reporting (including unemployment claims, employment verifications, and EEO reporting);
and oversee file archiving and inventory management.

·         Employee Services: Support employee recognition programs such as service awards and milestone 
announcements; assist in organizing employee events such as holiday celebrations and company meetings.
 

 

Other Duties & Responsibilities:   

·         Benefit Invoice Processing: Ensure timely and accurate handling of benefit-related invoices.

·         Purchase Order Processing: Manage and track purchase orders in alignment with company policies.

·         Unemployment Claims & Training Coordination: Support unemployment claims processing and assist
in organizing employee training initiatives.

·         Employee Handbook Development: Collaborate on updates and contribute innovative ideas to
enhance the employee handbook.

·         Scanning & Filing: Perform regular scanning and filing of documents to maintain organized and 
accessible records.

·         Cross-Border Access: Operate with full access to HR systems and documentation for both U.S. and 
Canadian teams.

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Experience:

·         High school diploma or GED equivalent; currently pursuing
or recently completed a college degree required.

·         1+ year experience in customer service, administrative support, or HR support role.

·         Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

·         Ability to prioritize work and adjust priorities as needed.

·         Superior organization and follow-up skills.

·         Ability to work with and maintain confidential information with discretion.

·         Naturally curious, proactive, and eager to learn.

·         Results-drive with strong attention to detail.

·         Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and in a professional manner (verbally and written).

 

Hourly Range: $18-$20/hour
