About the Role

Description

Gain the necessary skills to work on a concrete flatwork or wall crew while still in school!

This position is open to both high school students and students enrolled in higher education. Student laborers will learn skills in either flatwork or walls, including but not limited to:

  • Knowledge of basic tools including hammers, wrenches, and tape measures
  • Jobsite maintenance and safety procedures
  • How to set up and strip wall forms OR How to prepare for, pour, and strike off for flatwork
  • Experience being on a real crew on real jobs

Requirements

Must be 16 years of age

  • Must have a driver's license
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
