About the Role

Description

The Investment Services Intern will gain real-world experience in the banking industry by supporting projects, completing assigned tasks across departments, and assisting in customer service activities. The intern will be able to apply academic and applied learning goals in a hands-on setting.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assists the department with work assignments such as project work and coverage of day-to-day activities within the department.
  2. Attend department meetings to discuss different areas of the bank and what day-to-day operations look like.
  3. Assist other departments as necessary. 
  4. Participates in internship program activities as presented.
  5. Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Current college student majoring in business, finance, or related field.
  2. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. 

Physical Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift, walk, stand, sit, bend, reach with hands and arms, climb, push/pull, use hands, and see, hear and speak.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
  • This position is performed in a retail bank setting.
  •  This position is performed in a hybrid office setting, 2-3 days a week in the office and the rest working remotely, with typical work hours being 8.30a through 5.15p. Some Saturdays and evenings are required. Some travel is required.
