Job Summary

Versova is seeking a junior or senior-level student to join our communications team as a graphic design/interactive media intern. This role supports the internal communications team by creating visual and multimedia content that engages our bilingual staff audience. The intern will gain hands-on, real-world experience in a fast-paced professional setting while playing a key role in promoting internal engagement.

Essential Job Functions

• Design, develop, and produce branded content for internal communications, including bilingual (English/Spanish) audiences
• Create visual content for digital monitors used throughout company facilities
• Produce various video formats, including animation, talking-head interviews, and onsite recordings
• Assist with the creation of flyers, newsletters, posters, and written internal announcements
• Collaborate closely with the internal communications manager to ensure alignment with branding and communication goals
• Support ongoing communication initiatives by delivering visually compelling and informative materials

Required Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (junior or senior level) in graphic design, interactive media, journalism, or communications

• Must be registered for the Fall 2025 semester
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
• Experience with Canva and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Must reside in the state of Iowa at the time of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills
• Experience designing content for internal corporate communications
• Understanding of multimedia production and digital content lifecycle
• Prior internship or related industry work experience

Work Environment

• Position is onsite at our East Village location in Des Moines, Iowa
• Scheduled Monday–Friday with a 3-hour minimum per shift
• After a successful skills demonstration, there may be an opportunity for hybrid remote work
• This is a student-level internship, designed to complement academic pursuits
