About the Role

We’re seeking a student to join our Quality Assurance team and help test our navigation SDK in real-world conditions. You’ll spend part of your time driving designated routes around Amsterdam to evaluate our navigation experience from a user’s perspective, and the rest performing hands‑on software testing in the lab. This role is ideal for someone curious, detail‑oriented, and eager to understand how technology behaves in the wild.

What you'll do
  • Drive assigned routes in and around Amsterdam as part of a two‑person testing team
  • Provide real‑time feedback on navigation performance while your colleague operates test equipment
  • Perform structured manual and exploratory testing in a lab environment
  • Identify, document, and report bugs clearly for developers
  • Give user‑focused feedback on new features and usability
  • Assist with basic troubleshooting of in‑car testing equipment
  • Share concise daily updates on what you tested and what you found


What you'll need
  • Enrollment as a current student in a relevant field
  • A valid EU driver’s license and confidence behind the wheel
  • Foundational experience or coursework in software testing
  • Curiosity about technology and how things work; interest in automotive or mapping is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies
  • Clear communication skills for describing technical issues
  • Comfort using new apps and mobile devices
  • Familiarity with bug‑tracking tools (e.g., Jira) is a bonus
