Job Description Summary
Support cross-functional projects within the Operations team by assisting with planning, documentation, milestone tracking, and reporting activities. Contribute to successful project execution while gaining hands-on experience in product development, manufacturing workflows, and structured project management practices.
Essential Duties
- Maintain accurate project documentation and visibility:
- Update project files, timelines, and action item logs using project management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
- Improve communication and coordination across teams:
- Prepare meeting agendas, document meeting notes, track follow-ups, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives:
- Assist in documenting lessons learned and help refine project templates and workflows to improve efficiency.
Position Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn
Minimum Qualifications:
- Enrollment in an accredited undergraduate program
- Sophomore standing or higher preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to project management tools (Microsoft Project, Asana, Planner, or similar)
- Interest in manufacturing, automotive, or operations leadership
- Previous internship, co-op, or leadership experience
- Familiarity with basic project management principles or coursework
