About the Role

AMETEK Process Instruments is looking for a manufacturing intern to join our team for the Summer of 2026.

 

AMETEK Process Instruments sells analytical products into the process control and automation market.

 

We are looking for:

  • No prior experience is required, but the candidate should be high energy and have a self-starting work ethic to drive individual and group project work.
  • Your responsibilities may include design maintenance, fixture design, or performance validation of electro-mechanical measurement devices, components, and capital equipment.
  • You should have a strong knowledge of engineering and manufacturing principles, be proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software, and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Job Requirements:

  • Currently attending an accredited 4-year college or university, pursuing a major in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial), Engineering Technology, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of engineering and manufacturing principles, particularly operational efficiency, mechanical/electrical design, and design for manufacturing.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently, and entrepreneurial; enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • High energy, maturity, and leadership with the ability to serve as a unifying force and to position communications discussions at both the strategic and tactical levels.
  • Can effectively function in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations a plus.
  • Strong skills in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and related software
  • Experience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, or similar 2D and 3D CAD software.
