About the Role

 

Job Summary

This role is responsible for assisting our Pfister Faucets Marketing team, including Product, Channel, and Brand teams, with current initiatives and projects, helping drive our business forward. This individual will have the opportunity to experience various aspects of marketing while working for a North American residential plumbing products company that goes to market through some of the world’s largest retailers and wholesalers including Amazon.com, Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Ferguson. Must be available to work onsite in our Lake Forest office 3 days a week for our hybrid schedule – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Will be remote Mondays and Fridays.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, Channel Marketing, Sourcing, and Sales to execute marketing initiatives
  • Gather, document, and present market data to inform and support business cases
  • Supporting product roadmap development, manage research initiatives to establish fact-based business and marketing strategies
  • Assist in building surveys and perform field research; conduct data analysis where needed
  • Prepare creative requests including packaging and New Product Introduction (NPI) related materials
  • Participate in competitive product tear downs and spec analysis
  • Coordinate meeting materials for customer product collaboration, line reviews, and business reviews
  • Support the management of online databases to ensure proper content
  • Perform financial/profitability analysis and SKU rationalization
  • Create reports (for example: quarterly product updates, product launch post-audits)
  • Build product displays

 

Education and Experience Profile

  • Completed or working toward a college degree, preferably in Marketing, Business or a related field, or applicable experience in the plumbing industry
  • Ideal candidate is in their senior year and able to work 40 hours per week

 

Required Skills

  • Computer literate on all major business software packages (Microsoft Suite)
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Effective communicator, both written and oral
  • Strong emphasis on achieving commitments
  • Self-motivated to multitask and meet deadlines assigned

 

Work Environment:

Working conditions are normal for an office environment

Hybrid work schedule (In-office attendance required Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Requires 3-month commitment (May-August)
