Official Position Description:

This is a temporary position involving various duties that will either supplement the student’s major field of study &/or provide experience that is a useful addition to the student’s education & meaningful preparation for future professional employment.

Works under general supervision, assisting with miscellaneous duties to facilitate the operational efficiency of the work unit (e.g., maintains accurate records, organizes material, & compiles information to assist in report preparation).  Operates personal computer & related software (e.g., Microsoft Word & Excel) to perform basic clerical duties & draft correspondence (e.g., forms, form letters, labels, etc.); proofreads all work & updates information as needed. 

 Answers telephone & directs incoming calls to appropriate party &/or takes messages & provides information as needed; responds to inquiries received by telephone &/or email using computer & related software (e.g., Microsoft Outlook).  Performs other related duties as assigned.



Must be currently enrolled in a college or university and in good academic standing.
