About the Role

FOOD TECHNOLOGY TRAINEE PRÉ-HES (12 months)

Nestlé Suisse S.A. in La Tour-de-Peilz is looking for a trainee pré-HES from August 1st 2026 to July 31st 2027.

You have or will obtain your “maturité gymnasiale” and you are applying for a Bachelor of Science HES-SO (BSc) in Food Technology. 

This pre-HES internship position is reserved exclusively for young people who wish to pursue a Bachelor of Science HES-SO (BSc) in Food Technology. For these studies, it is necessary to complete one year of professional experience before starting. Applications from candidates already enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program will not be considered. Thank you in advance for your understanding. 

Job description

We offer a cross-functional internship position: Regulatory & Scientific Affairs, Quality Management, Nutrition and Sensory.

Key responsibilities

Regulatory & Scientific Affairs (RSA)

  • Ensure compliance of labels for different categories
  • Support the development of product labels and communication materials in compliance with the Swiss Food Regulation

Quality management (QM)

  • Analyse and control of products for release purpose
  • Monthly Quality data’s controls
  • Analyse return of goods from customers 

Nutrition

  • Ensure label compliance with internal Guidelines
  • Provide nutritional support to business partners

Sensory

  • Participate to sensory tests

Required Profile

  • Future student in HES-SO Valais-Wallis or ZHAW Wädenswil in food technology.
  • Passion for food
  • Team spirit and positive mindset
  • Good organisation skills and structured
  • Good knowledge of computer skills (Office 365: Excel – Power BI – Outlook – Teams)
  • French or German as a mother tongue with good competences in the other working languages (French, German, English)
