What you'll do

This role is ideal for a student or early-career technologist who enjoys helping people, learning how enterprise IT operates at scale, and continuously looking for opportunities to simplify, automate, or eliminate repetitive work.

In addition to supporting end users, you will collaborate with experienced IT engineers to identify patterns in support requests, document workflows, and propose improvements using automation, self-service, or AI-assisted tools. You will gain exposure to endpoint management, identity and access workflows, collaboration platforms, and onsite AV and event support, while contributing ideas that help scale IT operations more efficiently.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, AMER IT Operations.

Responsibility

  • Provide first-level IT support for end users, troubleshooting issues with laptops, mobile devices, operating systems, and productivity tools

  • Support device setup, onboarding/offboarding, inventory tracking, and basic asset management

  • Assist with identity, access, and application support (login issues, MFA, VPN, collaboration tools) following security standards

  • Provide onsite AV and event support, including meeting room setup, testing, troubleshooting, and live assistance during meetings or events

  • Help maintain and support office technology such as conference room systems, displays, peripherals, and shared devices

  • Identify recurring issues and support patterns, documenting solutions and proposing improvements through automation, self-service, or AI-assisted workflows

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles to reduce manual support effort

  • Collaborate with senior IT engineers to pilot or improve automation, monitoring, and process standardization initiatives
